Laserik (Las) Saunders
A Senior Consultant with Focus On Results, Laserik (Las) Saunders is a
school leader focused on improving student learning. Most recently, Las
provided instructional leadership to a large urban high school focused
on literacy, which showed significant gains in student learning under
his leadership.
Dr. Saunders served the San Diego Unified School District for
36 years as a teacher, vice principal, and principal. A charter member
of the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA), he
remains active with ACSA as a team leader for the Principals' Center
Summer Institute held at UCLA each summer.
During his career, Dr. Saunders has received numerous commendations for his outstanding school leadership and service to youth.
