Linda Moore
Prior to joining Focus On Results as a Senior Consultant, Linda Moore
most recently served as the principal of Rogers Middle School in Long
Beach, Calif., noted for its significant gains in student learning. She
has been a teacher and administrator for 38 years in Long Beach,
Calif., serving in middle schools, high schools, and the district
office.
Ms. Moore's district-level responsibilities included leading projects
in accountability for students in K-12, standardized and performance
testing grades for students K-12, data-driven instruction, site-based
management, and middle school reform.
As
principal of Will Rogers Middle School, Ms. Moore led her school
community in earning the California Distinguished School award and the
United States Department of Education Blue Ribbon School award.
Representatives of other schools from throughout the United States
regularly visited Rogers to observe her school's instruction, school
climate, and parent involvement.
