Focus On Results has been providing support since 2006
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary Education reported that in 2008 Ludlow Public schools was one of only two districts in the entire state to move out of Corrective Action under NCLB guidelines. FOR has worked with the district since 2006 and helped district and school leadership create a system to focus and support teaching and learning. The hard work of the district teachers and principals is clearly paying off in increased achievement for all students.
Focus On Results works to support the entire district in the implementation of the FOCUS framework. In 2007 all schools met AYP for the first time and the district increased its overall Algebra enrollment rate from 17% to 92%. And its four year college going rate increased from 35% to 45% over the same period.
