Clear Expectations for Implementation

When an organization invests in training, the training must translate into concrete action. Of the best practices we've developed at Focus On Results, one of the most successful has been our work with districts to create clear expectations for implementation for training participants.

These expectations exist to make it clear to school staffs that after they are trained, they are expected to implement what they have learned. We also supplement their training by giving them a clear idea of what the concepts they learn in training will actually look like in practice, and what the ideal application of those concepts looks like.

To help ensure that participants can meet these expectations, a well-organized and focused coaching component is put in place.
