Leadership Matters Participants will connect with their colleagues around leadership quotes that resonate with their belief systems.
Article: “Reach For The Heart as Well As The Mind”, by Dennis Sparks
Participants will examine their practices as instructional leaders as they reflect on the connections between relationships and “the work”.
Leadership Framework: The Overview and Leadership Priorities 1, 2 and 3
Participants will have a first look at the Leadership Framework and take a more in-depth look at the priorities around: a belief in learning, the culture of teaching and learning, and the management of learning. As leaders, we will explore further what it takes to enhance our practice so that it directly impacts student achievement.
Seeing The Work In Action
Leaders will review the PBS Documentary, “The Principal Story”, making connections with their work and the two principals featured in the film.
